Hi bloggers, it has certainly been a very busy month and I want to catch you up on all that's been happening. The main thing that has been keeping me away from my blogging was my prep for my birthday celebrations and as you may see from the above picture, it was all quite magical.
Firstly I will start with my actual birthday and even though it was not filled with excitement (morning at university isn't how I envisage birthday celebrations) I did get some amazing vintage pressies from my mummy. As you may have guessed by now I am a bit of a Disney nut and a few months ago I started to collect some vintage Disney pieces for my collection (please see my post on the Shepton Mallet Giant Flea Market). So, wrapped in a big Disney box I unveiled some classic pieces that have blown me away and which I will treasure for life.
Contents Included:
1950's Disneyland Park Brochure
1970's Disneyland Park Brochure
Cinderella Playing Cards
Viewmaster Discs for story of Cinderella
Viewmaster Discs for Disneyland Park
Very vintage Mickey and Minnie Figurine
Avon Cinderella Carriage
Top Favourite present was the Disneyland Park brochures, its just amazing to see what the parks looked like in those decades and what rides were first around. As an avid visitor to the Disneyland Parks I can definitely see how the parks have changed over the years. If I could go back in time I definitely would.
Anyway, on to more exciting things, my birthday celebrations:
Cinderella's Vintage Tea Party
The most elegant invitation, I wanted to hit the 'wow' factor straight away to get my guests excited. From then on no detail was spared I wanted to really give the impression that my friends were going to the ball.
Enjoy the photos below and follow the story of Cinderella's Vintage Tea Party........
The most beautiful cake, thank you Jen!
Handmade party favours, enclosed inside is a lavender shoe sachet
Make a wish mini bags, enclosing white chocolate mice
These cute little bags greeted my guests, inside was a plain calico purse that we decorated at the party, always one to spread the love of crafting.
The table with all the food laid upon it
All my beautiful guests, dressed up as princesses for the evening
I thank everyone who attended that night and made it truly magical, all birthdays should be like this.
