Revive Craft Workshops Collaboration

We have an exciting collaboration to start off 2020. We will be working with Revive Charity Shop in Crawley again to host some crafting workshops. The types of projects will vary and will include an element of up-cycling/recycling, using up old scraps of material and other crafty bits and bobs, turning them into something new. This could include cards, jewellery, homeware items and more!

Our first workshop will be held on Saturday 15th February between 10.30am and 12.30pm. The project will involve using fabric scraps, embellishments and stamps to create three greetings cards. Take a look at the examples below of the type of designs you will be making....

As you can see from the examples you will be able to create a variety of shapes using fabric scraps and lace, incorporating stamped images on top of your fabric scraps. We will be bringing along a Singer sewing machine to the workshop so that you can easily sew your pieces together. Alternatively you can also choose to hand sew your pieces together as well.
These designs will then be adhered to a 4x4 card, ready for you to send to your nearest and dearest.

Or perhaps you admire your work too much to give away?? If so why not frame your design and display around your house.

Bookings for this workshop must be made in-store at Revive Charity Shop.

New Year New Planner

Happy New Year everyone!

After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I do enjoy that New Year feeling. It gives you the chance to press the reset button and start afresh, making resolutions and goals for the year ahead.

And what better way to get yourself goal setting than by buying yourself a planner or diary. Not only will it help keep you organised but you can also set yourself goals on a daily or weekly basis. You can also get creative and use stickers, pens, stamps, washi tape and more to add extra decoration and encouragement.

I decided to get my planner from Busy B this year, I was looking for something that I knew wouldn't be too much of a challenge to keep up. Daily planners have often left many empty pages as I've lost track of time and forgotten to jot down goals, memories and just daily happenings. This planner seemed more like a general diary to me but with some gorgeous designs and great little features.

It offers weekly diary pages with a notes page down the side and after every 3 months there is an extra notes page with a pocket to store any memorabilia, lists or stickers in. There is a pen loop so I should never be without a pen and there are also some tear out list pages at the back of the diary.

Other retailers that I love for diaries and stationery are Kikki. K
If you are looking for more specific diaries or journals for goal setting, healthy living, wedding planning, baby planning then they definitely offer a wide range for you to choose from.

So make 2020 a more organised year with a new planner or diary!
