Vintage Canvas Collage Workshop

It's been a long time coming but our next workshop has finally arrived. This burlap panel makes a wonderful home decor to display photos and memories. Collate photos and ephemera from a day or a holiday and display it on one canvas to capture those memories in one place.

There are two configurations to choose from, which is either one full canvas that measures 6" x 8" or choose to make two mini canvases that measure 4" x 6" each. The two mini canvases can either be displayed together or split them up across a shelf or display unit. Furthermore you could create two separate projects with the mini canvases - ideal opportunities to make gifts for friends or loved ones!

Configuration 1: Full Canvas (6" X 8")

Configuration 2: Two Mini Canvases (4" x 6" each)

See our Workshops page for more information about the project and booking information.

Look forward to seeing you soon!

Spring Houses Workshop

Hi bloggers, our Spring workshop has finally been announced and the places have been filling up fast with only 1 place available now so if you think this is the workshop for you make sure you email us asap!

I think this has to be one of my favourite workshops as the houses are so cute and the decoration is perfect for Spring. The houses are miniature in size with the largest measuring approx. 2.75 x 5 inches. On the workshop you will make a set of 3 which look great on the end of a book shelf or display area.

All the details can be found on our workshop page and I have included a few extra pictures below so you can get up close to the detail and get an idea of the depth of the houses.

The houses have been made using the Tim Holtz Tiny Houses Bigz L die, decorated with the Tim Holtz Wildflowers die set.

Of course I will share all the finished houses from the workshop so you can see everyone's wonderful creations! Roll on May 6th, can't wait to get crafting with great friends again!

organise me! workshop recap

finally the long awaited workshop was on it's way today. our crafty friends had waited long enough and they definitely weren't disappointed. we pulled out all the stops as usual with a fabulous project, great food and of course a bit of february sunshine!

the long crafting table was dusted off and all ready to go, all they needed to do was pick a pack from the many different background papers to choose from. *note to self: don't make them choose between papers when all the papers are lovely!

our crafty day was made extra special by one cutie attendee, Tigerlily...who was as good as gold all day long.

as usual the results were fantastic and it wouldn't be a workshop recap without posting a picture of everyone's final creations, even though everyone had the same kits (except background paper) it always fascinates us how everyone puts their own style on it...

Zoe - using her calendar already!

Maria

Jen - marking out the most important day in February!

it's days like today that reassure us to keep doing what we are doing. we love seeing everyone find that creativeness inside of them and making something that they can display and use in their home.

thanks again to everyone who attended and watch this space for the next workshop...

organize me!

we warned you a new workshop was coming and here it is! the beginning of the year brings many plans and aspirations and this planner board is definitely the perfect project to start off the year and of course we have designed it in our usual vintage way!

the details of the workshop can be found on our workshops page so make sure you check that out and book up quick!

for now we just want to share with you some up close photos of the project so you can have a better look....

the first essential of any planner board has to be a calendar to make note of all those important dates. this has been specially made for this project and has a perforated top so you can easily rip off each month once its passed.

a handy little pocket envelope is included at the bottom of the board to hold all those memorable tickets and business cards.

a cute little cork noticeboard is included to pin little mementos, appointments, photos
etc... and yes you also get to make some cute pins to go on the noticeboard too!

a planner board wouldn't be complete to me without including a photo holder which you can change daily, weekly, monthly. it is a reminder to document your life and highlight the best bits!

the final piece is a simple peg to hold letters, tickets and more.

so that's a more in depth look at the project and we hope we have inspired you to come along and join in the fun!

to new beginnings

happy new year bloggers and welcome to 2017!

so 2016 didn't exactly pan out how we wanted it too which would explain the long spell of absence from the blog and our facebook page but fingers crossed that will stay a bit more updated this year.

we have lots of ideas that we want to inspire you with by hosting workshops and craft retreats and have already pencilled in a workshop for February - don't worry - details will follow shortly. the finishing touches are being made and as soon as its finished you can bet an email will be coming your way!

for now here is a little sneaky peek to give you an idea of the project....

as you can see this project is a start to keeping us organised for the year ahead!

to keep the blog updated more often I'm going to try and focus on doing little and often blog posts so I'm keeping this short and sweet for today and look forward to seeing some of you soon!
